Indian Dances Through Classic English Poems 

Soorya Performing Arts, St Louis, MO presents Rainbow II which explores the fascinating world of literary works of American, British and Indian poets. It portrays a spectrum of emotions such as love, romance, lust, and greed. Works of famous poets such as William Shakespeare, W B Yeats, Maya Angelou, William Wordsworth, Rabindranath Tagore and John Keats, will be presented through Indian Classical Dances. 

Performed in Bharathnatyam and Kathak, Rainbow II has been successfully presented to audiences in the United States and India. Grammy award winner Pundit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt has composed the music for this exemplary work. Choreographed and performed by the accomplished Guru Prasanna Kasthuri, Rainbow II also features National Youth Fest Award Winner Sushma Mohan, internationally renowned dancer & Nattuvangist Pulikeshi Kasthuri from Bangalore, India and gifted dancer and musician Seema Murthy of St.Louis.
